Moore & Moore Newsletter/Autumn 2013

A Note from Vivian Moore, Fan Club President:

I’m not sure where Summer went, but here we are again, knocking on the door of Autumn.  It’s okay with me, cause I’m ready for a change!  I have been having terrible back pain and have not been moving around too much.  I will be having surgery this month, so I’m asking for your prayers.  I’m anxiously looking forward to a speedy recovery.

I hope everyone had a great time at the 2013 CMA Music Festival, and especially at the 16th Annual Moore & Moore Fan Club Party!  Our special guests were fabulous and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves.  I know I did!  We’re not sure where the party will be next year.  The Nashville Palace has been sold to new management and has been completely renovated.  We’re hoping to still have the party there on June 5, 2014, but nothing is in stone yet.  We’ll keep you posted!

I know you all have heard this tune before, but the “Show Me Your Country” video will be unveiled before the year is out!  Debbie & Carrie are gearing up to get it out and on the airwaves.  We will send out emails to let you know when & where the debut will be, and of course, keep checking the website, Facebook, etc. for more information.

Debbie & Carrie have been busy girls, per usual— traveling, writing and taking care of business.  They opened for T. Graham Brown at the County Fair in Sidney, OH in July and were surprised by a visit from several fan club members and friends, including Mary Collins, Mary & Joe Saalman and Trees & Wanda Trester.  Wish I could have been there for that!  I did hop on the bus with Debbie & Carrie and the band to travel up to Green Bay, WI where Moore & Moore performed with Jeannie Seely at the Oneida Casino.  We had family and friends show up to visit that I haven’t seen in years, and we all had a great time!  Special thanks to Trudee Preimesberger for taking such good care of me. :-)

Moore & Moore will be doing some more traveling in the coming months with stops in Arkansas, Missouri, Florida and Indiana.   In early 2014 they will embark on a 7-day cruise to perform with Moe Bandy for his 4th Classic Country Cruise to Key West,  Freeport & Nassau.   If you’d like to join them, look for more info on our website, or go to Moe’s site at

I hope everyone has a fun Fall with crackling fires, apple cider, pumpkins and whatever else makes Autumn awesome!  I hope to be celebrating at an Oktoberfest somewhere soon, right after I heal from surgery.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.  Our next newsletter will be out in December.  Until then, Happy Columbus Day, Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving!

Vivian Moore, President

A Note From Debbie & Carrie:

Happy Fall!... and first of all, we would like to say Happy Birthday to our sweet mother and fan club President, who will be celebrating her 82nd birthday on October 29.  Here’s hoping she will be feeling great after her back surgery, and ready to party!  ;-)

We enjoyed seeing everyone during the CMA Music Festival in June.  The fan club party was fabulous, and it was especially great to connect again with friends and fan club members.  We had a blast, and we hope you did too!  Mark your calendars for next year—June 5-8, 2014!

We’ve been taking care of things at home and also traveling a little.  Our Carthage, TX show in August was incredible!  We had such a great time meeting some new friends and performing with so many amazing artists and musicians.  Tommy Overstreet performed for the last time on the road, so it was great to be there for the momentous occasion.  We also had fun  offstage with Barbara Fairchild and her husband, Roy, for an impromptu performance of “Rhinestone Cowboy” at the Holiday Inn!  Our assigned driver, Dena, was fabulous, taking us to Whataburger at midnight, and wherever else we wanted to go.  We visited the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and sang at Cowboy Church on Sunday morning.  We also saw our longtime friend, Penny Gilley, who hosts the show “Young Country” on the Rural Network.  We taped an interview with her during the show at the Civic Center.  Look for it on Rural TV, Channel 232 on the Dish Network, airing Sundays at 2:30 p.m. CST, and on cable on FamilyNet TV across the USA!

We’re looking forward to cruising with Moe Bandy in January 2014!  A cabin on the Carnival Magic would be a nice Christmas present for your loved one. ;-)  Come join us for Moe’s 4th Classic Country Cruise—sold exclusively by Cook’s Travel Center—1-877-266-5885.

Our video & single release of “Show Me Your Country” will be out in November!  The video debut outlet will be announced soon!  Can’t wait!

 Love ya’ll,                                                                                                                                                  Debbie & Carrie
