Moore & Moore Newsletter/Spring 2016

Are you ready for it?  Spring is almost here!  It’s time to enjoy some sunshine, daffodils and tulips.  Hope everyone can break out of your hibernation this month and enjoy the earth bouncing back from it’s  snowy slumber.  I’m ready to cure cabin fever!  Who’s with me?  ;-)

Debbie & Carrie have been working hard on their new CD.  They’re hoping to have it available and ready for release at the 19th Annual Moore & Moore Fan Club Party on June 8th at the Nashville Palace!  Please mark your calendars and get ready for another fun night   starting at 6pm.  We’ll be making special guest artist announcements as the party gets closer.  If you’re coming into town that week for the CMA Music Festival (June 9-12, 2016), stay tuned and check out the tour schedule on the website to see where Moore & Moore will be performing that week.  Everything always seems to be last minute, so stay tuned for the latest updates for that week, and for road dates! The new CD will also have special guest artists/co-writers including James Carothers, Helen Cornelius, Marty Haggard, T.G. Sheppard and Billy Yates!  All 12 songs were written or co-written by Debbie & Carrie, and they’re very excited to share them with you!

Moore & Moore will once again be “Celebrity Waiters” for an evening to support the Family Center for Child Abuse Prevention in Murfreesboro, TN on April 7.  Other artists participating include Rex Allen, Jr., Paulette Carlson, Tommy Cash, Jan Howard, Sylvia, Ronnie McDowell, Irlene Mandrell, Stella Parton, Lulu Roman, Roni Stoneman and Shelly West!  That will be another great night, for a great cause!

Also, for our Indiana fan club members, Moore & Moore will be performing at the Ross County Jamboree in Scottsburg, IN on Saturday, April 16th.  Come out if you can, and enjoy the show!

Our next newsletter will be out in June, right before the CMA Music Festival.  In the meantime, Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Happy Birthday to Debbie & Carrie on March 25 (Good Friday), Happy Easter, Happy Cinco De Mayo, Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Memorial Day!

Vivian Moore, President

A Note from Debbie & Carrie:

Happy Spring!  We’ve had a few rounds of winter weather this season, even setting a record on January 22 with over 8 inches of the white stuff, the largest snowfall in Nashville in 28 years!  We’re about ready to see the sun on a recurring basis!  Of course, we never know what March will bring, but hopefully it will go out like a lamb.  ;-)

We sure did have a great Christmas and New Year’s Eve.  Our sister, Dee came into town and the Moore women painted it holiday red!  We did a lot of sightseeing and just hanging out together.  We also had some friends and fan club members pass through town, so we got to spend time with them too.  What fun!

We’re excited about our new album!  We’ve had a blast writing with a lot of different songwriter friends/artists and some were gracious enough to come in the studio and sing with us.  We feel completely humbled and blessed beyond belief!  We’re anxious to have everything finished and share it with ya’ll.  The entire experience has been a great one!  We still don’t know the title of the album yet, but we’re leaning towards “My Present To You”, a song written by just the two of us.  We’ll also have new t-shirts available at the fan club party.  We think you’re gonna like ’em! :):)

We hope that life is treating you good, and that everything is going your way.  If you can’t come to Nashville in June, check our schedule and come see us on the road.  We’ll be back in our home state of Missouri in October and we’ll let you know the details soon.  Just keep in touch with us via our website with links to Facebook and  Twitter.  As always, thanks for your friendship and support!            Love                                                                                                                                   Debbie & Carrie
