Moore & Moore Newsletter/Summer 2015

Keep Calm & Party On!

It’s almost here… CMA Music Festival week!  We’re trying to get everything in order so we can all relax and have some fun at the annual fan club party!  It’s coming right up on Wednesday, June 10 at the Nashville Palace.  As to be somewhat expected, we’ve had a few complications planning the party with so many artists in town and so many events going on.  A couple of our special guests previously confirmed have had scheduling conflicts and health issues, but we still have an incredible line-up with some new guest artists confirmed including Ken Mellons, Judy Rodman & Ronnie McDowell!  Of course, Moore & Moore will be there, and you just never know who else will show up to perform or just drop by to catch up with old friends.  For “moore” information, check out the flyer on our tour page.  I may be biased, but I think it’s one of the best shows in town that week and the camaraderie and fellowship is amazing—almost like the old Fan Fair days at the fairgrounds, but in air conditioning!  ;-)  You also can’t beat the price—only a $5 cover, and our members get reserved seating and other goodies.  There’s also free parking!  Join us, and let’s have some FUN!

Moore & Moore will also take part in a benefit show called “Country For A Cause” at the Nashville Palace on Sunday, June 7 at 6:30 pm.  The event will be hosted by Lulu Roman with guests, John Berry, T. Graham Brown, James Carothers, Becky Hobbs, Buddy Jewell,  Leona and Ron Williams, Billy Yates and more!  Tickets are only $20 and proceeds benefit cancer patients and their families and Pearl Point (the Minnie Pearl Foundation).  See the schedule for more info and join us if you can.

On Thursday, June 11, Moore & Moore will perform at the WSM Durango Music Spot stage from 3:00 to 3:30, then sign autographs at the WSM booth from 3:30 to 4:30pm.  Hope ya’ll can make it out to see them at the Music City Center that day after a night of partying together at the Palace!  If you can’t be there in person, you can tune in at 650 AM,, or get the FREE mobile app to hear all performances LIVE!

Keep checking the website tour page for last minute events, as CMA Fest week can be very unpredictable!  Our next newsletter will be out in September.  Until then, Happy Father’s Day, Happy 4th of July, Happy Sisters’ Day (8/2) and Happy SUMMER!  Enjoy!

Vivian Moore, President

It’s almost here again…. The CMA Music Festival!  Hope you’re ready to come to Nashville and have some fun!  Please check our schedule and come see us somewhere, and of course, please plan to attend the 18th Annual Fan Club Party!  We’re looking forward to seeing ya’ll.  Be safe in your travels, but hurry up & get here!  ;-)

We’ve been keeping busy playing a few concerts and raising money for some great causes.  In April, as part of a Celebrity Waiters Dinner, we all raised over $40,000 for The Family Center in Murfreesboro, TN for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.  We were proud to be a part of it and have already been asked to participate again next year—April 7, 2016!  It’s great to give back and have fun while doing it.  ;-)  We’ve also been writing some new songs and are excited for you to hear them.  We may give you a little preview at the fan club party.  ;-)  We hope to have the new album pressed and ready by 2016, so wish us luck!

We had an absolute blast in Arizona with our sister, Dee in March.  We celebrated in style and had one of the best birthdays ever in Tucson and also in wine country in Sonoita.  Thanks Sista! :-) :-)

We enjoyed attending the red carpet Grand Opening of the George Jones Museum in April.  Check it out when you come to Nashville (next to the Wildhorse Saloon) and say hello to our friend, James Carothers.  He’s been performing there quite a bit, (be sure to visit the Rooftop Terrace!) and he’ll also be performing at our fan club party.  You’ll love him!

We have some road shows coming up in the next few months in Rhode Island, Texas, New York, Missouri and Kentucky, so if you get cabin fever and need to get away, come see us!  We also have a cruise scheduled with Jeannie Seely sailing to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean.  Those will be some wild & fun cruises!  Keep checking our schedule, but don’t go too far without calling ahead.  Everything can change on a dime.  As we always say, “Make plans & the angels laugh”!   We’re looking forward to meeting new fan club members at the party, and of course, seeing our long-time fans who have become dear friends.  It’s like a little “family” reunion!  We’ll bring the entertainment, and ya’ll bring the smiles!  Looking forward to seeing you SOON!

Love, Debbie & Carrie
