Moore & Moore Newsletter/Summer 2016

It’s Party Time!  Hope ya’ll are ready for it, and we hope we will be too!  We’re trying to get our act(s) together for the 19th Annual Moore & Moore Fan Club Party!  We have confirmed several guest artists for the show, and of course we’ll have Fan Club member awards, giveaways and goodies, along with a few other surprises.  Check out the tour schedule for one of the best parties of the week during the CMA Music Festival!  It’s at the Nashville Palace again, and only a $5 cover to get in for a great show and a great night of catching up with old friends and making new ones.  Come join us!

Moore & Moore have been working feverishly to get their new CD finished to have it ready for release at the party.  The title cut is a song called “My Present To You”.  It has an Irish feel and we think you’ll like it!  Other songs on the album (12 in all) were written or co-written by Debbie & Carrie—  “I’m Going To Roam”, “So Far, No Good” (with T.G. Sheppard), “I Want You” (with James Carothers), “Loving Thirty” (with Billy Yates), “Follow The Star” (with Marty Haggard), “Your Lover”, Wine & Whine” (with Helen Cornelius), “Can I Borrow Tomorrow”, Sand In Our Shoes” (with Billy Yates), “Better Place In Heaven” and “Play It By Beer”.  If all goes as planned, you’ll be able to purchase the new CD at the fan club party, as well as new t-shirts!

Moore & Moore and Marty Haggard will be guests on “The Music Row Show” with hosts, Scott and Heino on WSM on Sunday, June 5, 7-8pm CST.  You can tune in on your radio at WSM 650 AM (home of the Grand Ole Opry), or listen online at  Marty Haggard and Scott & Heino will also be guests at our fan club party!   Also that week, Moore & Moore will perform on the Durango Music Spot stage on Saturday, June 11 at 11am at the Music City Center/Fan Fair X (also listen LIVE on WSM), then they’ll be signing autographs in the Durango booth from 11:30am—12:30 pm.

We’ll let you know about “moore” radio interviews that week, but just keep checking the website for the latest itinerary.  Debbie & Carrie will be out & about (and having fun) during “Fan Fair” week, so you’re sure to see them somewhere if you come to Nashville!

I’m looking forward to another great party and seeing everyone again!  Our newsletter mailings will be reduced to just two a year starting this month, so our next newsletter won’t hit your mailbox until December, but you can keep in touch with us via the website, Facebook, Twitter, etc., and of course the old fashioned way of writing us a letter!  Until then, Happy Father’s Day, Happy Independence Day, Happy Labor Day, Happy Everything!   Hope to see ya’ll SOON!
